I really do love a Yorkshire curd...Very, very nice. I really do love a Yorkshire curd tart. I admit that they don't always look elegant but that's not a problem for me. Funnily enough, one of the very best YCTs I've ever had was in a pub in Derbyshire many years ago. I remember that the chef was from Yorkshire but I'm struggling to remember which pub it was (I'm afraid I went to a LOT of Derbyshire pubs in the 80s and 90s and I'm hazy about the details). By the way, despite being a long way from Yorkshire, my local Waitrose sometimes sells curd cheese in its deli. I admit it - I'm spoilt.
