One of the few advantages of living on the edge of a rather down at heel place. Green rhubarb ends up the same as most of the people who might eat rhubarb either buy their puddings ready made or grow their own. Fortunately we now have a brand new rhubarb plant which shows signs of life and I have high hopes for later in the year - in the UK that is - we have given up trying to grow it in our French garden.Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09726164724131916224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896642794207631523.post-58765289687662052192019-02-03T15:22:03.902+00:002019-02-03T15:22:03.902+00:00Snowy, you wouldn't regret it!Snowy, you wouldn't regret it!Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09726164724131916224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896642794207631523.post-53265268251291789432019-02-03T15:21:44.550+00:002019-02-03T15:21:44.550+00:00Jo, we did in fact have some later with custard......Jo, we did in fact have some later with custard....lovely!!Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09726164724131916224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896642794207631523.post-89532424948112102262019-01-31T13:17:23.461+00:002019-01-31T13:17:23.461+00:00Sounds delicious. Lovely cake. Rhubarb and ginger are a fine combination but I do get a bit bored with it sometimes since the ginger can mask the fine rhubarb taste. (I'm looking forward to rhubarb and strawberry later in the year, though). Phil in the Kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15904292856978631382noreply@blogger.com
